APPRENTICESHIP IN ELECTRICAL INSTALLATION
ADVANCED LEVEL 3
The course covers the understanding and application of the following:
- Health & Safety Legislation
- Principles of the planning and selection in installing electrotechnical systems and equipment
- Termination and connection of conductors, cables and cords
- Inspection, testing and commissioning electrotechnical systems and equipment
- Diagnosing and correcting electrical faults
The course contains a high level of practical work and it is important that strict safety rules and regulations are observed at all times.
Course Content:
- Level 3 Electrotechnical Qualification, (Installation) or (Maintenance).
- AM2 Test – End point assessment
- Level 2 Functional Skills in English and Maths – these can be obtained if needed during the course (exemption if you hold GCSE grade 4 or above)
